There's A New Zendo In Town!

The Blue Lotus Meditation Group moved this month, from our funky, comfy corner room in Landis House, across Dickinson Campus to the elegant, serene and spacious Koh Room in the Waidner-Spar Library on High Street.

A more lovely and appropriate place to sit zazen could not be imagined, and I am honored to add our good intentions to the general wonderful vibe of the space.  With floor to ceiling windows covered by Soji screens diluting harsh light, several striking sumi-e paintings on the walls and a feeling of the natural environment with greenery, wood and rock, the room is spare yet welcoming.

We will add our touch of Buddhism, of waking up, moment by moment!

Our schedule will remain the same: For sitting Meditation, we meet every Thursday evening at 6 p.m. sharp.  Please bring whatever you need for your comfort.  There are a few chairs for those who require them. We will also be resuming Movie Night, stay tuned.

Summers are always designated for personal retreats, Meditation-On-Your-Own and vacations, so please be aware that we will not gather in the Koh Room for sitting until Thursday August 16th, 6 p.m.
Hope to see you then!
