2nd Tuesday Meditation at Gaia

Hunter's Moon Meditation

Tuesday October 11, 7 p.m. at Gaia Fresh Foods Cafe, 57 West Pomfret St. Carlisle, PA
Free & Open to all, Dana graciously accepted.

Please join us for a period of walking meditation beneath the Hunter's moon, followed by sitting meditation.
We will be outdoors for walking meditation, so please wear shoes that don't mind getting damp in the dew.

Traditionally the Hunter's moon signaled the Autumn flight of migratory birds across the Northern hemisphere, and a good time to hunt in the moonlight, filling the larder for the long winter ahead. Following the trail of larger prey was also possible beneath the Hunter's moon.

Our only prey will be the ego self, in all its puffed up peacock finery--and killing this wily creature is not necessary, though teaching the ego self that it need not be in control all the time is necessary if we are going to make it to the other shore of our awakened nature.

Gate, gate, paragate.
