"Spiritual powers and their wondrous functioning--hauling water and carrying firewood." --Layman Pang, upon his realization

Project SHARE, Carlisle's community food bank, is accepting Thanksgiving Dinner Bags and turkeys through November 12, for distribution to over 1000 local families in need.

This annual event is a great opportunity to introduce children to the practice of Dana and Compassionate Action, and shopping for all the ingredients for a tasty Thanksgiving Day can be a treasure hunt at the supermarket for little ones.
For those of us who sometimes consider the market experience similar to a trip to a Hell Realm, Project SHARE understands and will accept cash donations anytime.

In any way that you are able, please find the means to give of your time, energy, resources and smile--it is so simple and liberating!

Project SHARE's Thanksgiving Dinner Shopping List:

*Stuffing Mix
*Sweet Potato, canned
*Turkey Gravy, canned
*Cranberry Sauce, canned
*Green Beans, canned
*Corn, canned
*Fruit, canned
*Bottle of 100% Fruit Juice
*Quick Bread Mix
*Dessert Mix

*Card of Thanksgiving or encouragement

All Dinner Bags and turkeys and cash donations must be delivered to Project SHARE at 5 North Orange St. Carlisle no later than November 12.  Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  For more information, please call 717-249-7773 or check out their website at:  www.projectshare.net

Thank You Elaine!
